The Story
Ambrosia Sweet Corn is a hybrid, sugary-enhanced variety with a beautiful, bicolor appearance and even better taste. In Greek mythology, ambrosia was known as "the food of the gods," and this sweet corn doesn't disappoint. Plants grow to 6.5' tall with ears that are 8" long and 2" in diameter. Cobs have a checkerboard appearance of white and yellow kernels. Ambrosia is a great variety for fresh eating and a fresh pot of Ambrosia Sweet Corn won't last long on the table. Because it's a sugary-enhanced variety, it can be stored for up to 10 days while keeping it's sweet flavor. It also holds well when creamed and frozen.
